The launch at Lavish was a success! We are so thrilled to be bringing our product to such a stylish and chic boutique in downtown Thomasville. If you know Nancy, you know she has the best taste around, and we’re so happy to be in this new home. Our evening was filled with sips of champagne, tasty key lime cupcakes from our fave bakery, Savannah Moon, and lots of lash applications! Our favorite part of this biz is the reaction we get from first time customers. Who knew such a simple little lash could be so transformative? Of course, we had a lot of pretty faces to work with. Winks at the Teen Choice Awards event
Georgie is back in L.A. to put Winks on teen stars from Showtime, Twilight, Glee, Disney, Nickelodeon, etc.! The young stars met at Sportsmen’s Lodge to pick up their gifts and get their Winks done by new Georgie girl Kristen Furbacher, an L.A. makeup artist and amazing beauty who started doing makeup on her friends out of her little pink caboodle back in the ‘80’s. Kristen is now a celebrity makeup artist and also does photo shoots and music videos.
We love L.A.! The teens out here don’t call Abbey ‘ma’am’ like they do in Georgia, and everyone is so friendly and beautiful! The event was in a tented garden in the historic ‘60’s Lodge, and Georgie served Japanese matcha cakes and dango candies from Mitsuwa, the largest Japanese supermarket in the U.S. And of course we served up tons of Winks that the young stars really loved.

For the last stop on our road trip, we decided to do it up, and do it up BIG! Vegas-style. Look, even Megan’s hair was big! The girls at Neiman Marcus were so fabulous and fun…they know how apply the perfect smokey eye, topped with L’Avant-Gardiste, for a night on the town. While the sunshine and pool were calling our name, we had to spread the word about Winks. Las Vegas is a city born for faux lashes!
On our very last night we celebrated with a delicious dinner at Lavo, followed by a little dancing at Tao. Unfortunately, we were one day early…Kim Kardashian and her future hubby had joint bachelor/bachelorette parties at Lavo and Tao the very next night!! Shooooot. We know Kim K would love some Starlettes.
